Position summary:
Adobe China R&Ds Solution Center team is looking for a talented and highly motivated Quality Engineering Intern. This intern will work together with the team to ensure quality of custom-developed solutions, built for Adobe enterprise customers. In this role, you will review the solution requirements from Adobes customers in global, help to review and/or create solution test plan, review or create automated and manual test cases, executing test cases, identify defects within the solution application, and work together with the team to get these defects fixed before we deliver the solution application to customers. Proactive attitude and good English verbal communications is expected.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Adobe Professional Service organization on custom solution projects
-Work collaboratively with both local and remote team members to clarify requirements
- Manual and automated testing on custom solution projects to ensure the software quality
- Create and execute test scenarios that exercise all features of the custom applications.
- Write thorough test plans and execute the plan in a timely and efficient manner.
- Write easy to understand test case steps and expected result descriptions.
- Execute and report test results or enter defects on a timely basis
Requirements
- A passionate person in new technology, technical oriented.
- Some development experiences in building applications using web technologies such as HTML, Java, Javascript, familiar with Flex/Actionscript is a plus.
- Must be a quick learner and able to transform a simple example into a comprehensive test suite that fully exercises a defined set of functionality.
- Strong desire to learn about delivering a solution to customer
- Good verbal and written English communication skill
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Genuine enjoyment of Software Quality Assurance work.
- Should be strong communicator and able to articulate ideas clearly
- Must be working towards a Master Degree in computer science or other relevant technical majors
- Experience with testing Adobe Flex or AIR applications is advantageous
- Experience testing J2EE systems is advantageous
- White-box testing skills is advantageous
