Ⅰ. neither “(兩者)都不”，pron 如：
    ① Neither of the books is mine. 這兩本書都不是我的。
    [注]作連詞用時(shí)，neither 與nor連用，表示“既不……也不”如：
    ② The ground must be just right ¬¬¬¬¬——neither too wet nor too dry.地面務(wù)必適合——既不太濕，也不太干。
    Ⅱ. either “(兩者中的)任何一個(gè)”pron. 如：
    ① There are two bikes in the room. You can ride eitheri of the two. 房里有兩部自行車，你可以任騎一部。
    [注]作連詞用時(shí)，與or連用，表示“或者……或者……”、“不是……就是……”。如：
    ② They were either too big or too small. 它們不是太大，就是太小。
    ▲ 作副詞用時(shí)，二者都有“也不”之意，但所使用的句型及在句中的位置不同。如：
    ① He doesn’t like swimming, I don’t like swimming, either.
    ② He doesn’t like swimming. Neither do I . (用于倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)中)
