    Lesson 1 The Spirit of Explorers（&Warm-up）
    教材分析（The Analysis of the Teaching Materials）：
    本課是第七單元的第1課，是一篇閱讀課。通過(guò)一篇有關(guān)于維京人如何發(fā)現(xiàn)北美大陸的文章，讓學(xué)生們溫習(xí)，了解有關(guān)于維京人當(dāng)時(shí)生活狀態(tài)和探險(xiǎn)經(jīng)歷的歷史知識(shí)，感受和學(xué)習(xí)探險(xiǎn)者的精神。本課旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在文章中獲取細(xì)節(jié)信息的閱讀能力。
    本課語(yǔ)法是由where, when, why等關(guān)系副詞引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句以及介詞加which，whom等的定語(yǔ)從句。因?yàn)樵谏蠈W(xué)期的第六單元，學(xué)生們已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了由who，whom，whose，which，that引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句，對(duì)定語(yǔ)從句的特點(diǎn)，用法有了一定的了解，這為本課進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)定語(yǔ)從句奠定了基礎(chǔ)。本課要求學(xué)生能為定語(yǔ)從句選擇恰當(dāng)?shù)囊龑?dǎo)詞并能在語(yǔ)境中應(yīng)用定語(yǔ)從句。
    本課計(jì)劃按兩個(gè)課時(shí)完成，第一課時(shí)的重點(diǎn)是完成閱讀文章，學(xué)生要學(xué)習(xí)課文種出現(xiàn)的新單詞，練習(xí)從文章中提取細(xì)節(jié)信息的能力，并能夠根據(jù)文章中的信息簡(jiǎn)述早期維京人航海的有關(guān)情況；第二課時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)由where，when，why引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句以及由介詞加which，whom的定語(yǔ)從句，從識(shí)別關(guān)系詞到選擇關(guān)系詞，后要求學(xué)生能自己使用恰當(dāng)?shù)年P(guān)系詞來(lái)組成定語(yǔ)從句，并在語(yǔ)境中應(yīng)用。 教學(xué)內(nèi)容（Teaching Content）
