            句中it指intelligent一詞。這里的with意即“用”。

            這是一個(gè)倒裝句。由here引導(dǎo)、謂語(yǔ)為be的句子通常用倒裝語(yǔ)序。這里and是表示承上啟下,使上下文緊密聯(lián)系,當(dāng)“于是”、“因此”講。

            動(dòng)詞不定式
            在英語(yǔ)中,當(dāng)一個(gè)動(dòng)詞被另一個(gè)動(dòng)詞緊跟時(shí),它們之間必須加不定式符號(hào)(to)。不定式符號(hào)后面的動(dòng)詞只能是原形,而不能是過(guò)去式或分詞形式。
            (1)不定式作動(dòng)詞的賓語(yǔ)(動(dòng)詞+to…):
            he wants to buy a car. 他想買(mǎi)輛車(chē)。
            he hopes to pass the french exam. 他希望自己能通過(guò)法語(yǔ)考試。
            i want to leave. 我想離開(kāi)。
            (2)有許多動(dòng)詞可以帶名詞/代詞賓語(yǔ)(通常是人稱(chēng)代詞賓格),后面再跟不定式(動(dòng)詞+名詞/賓格代詞+to…):
            i want you to carry it. 我想讓你扛著它。
            he wants them to listen to it. 他想讓他們聽(tīng)那個(gè)。
            tell him to move it. 讓他搬它。
            (3)不定式的否定形式是在 to 之前加 not:
            he decided not to buy the house. 他決定不買(mǎi)這幢房子。
            he told me not to close the window. 他讓我不要把窗戶(hù)關(guān)了。
            tell him not to move it. 告訴他不要搬動(dòng)它。
