Do you ever ride a bicycle?
    I ride my bicycle all the time, and I absolutely love it. I have loved riding bicycles since the age of 7 when I got my first brand new red bike and could ride without the help of a parent or stabilisers.
    我一直騎自行車，而且特別熱衷。我從7歲就開始喜歡騎車了，那時候我有了我第一輛嶄新的紅色自行車，并且那時我就能在沒有父母和穩(wěn)定器的幫助下獨自騎行。
    How popular are bicycles in your hometown? Why?
    Bicycles are reasonably popular in my hometown, but there are very few cyclists on the roads there, in comparison to major cities like Beijing. Though the distances are shorter, there aren’t so many cyclists there. I think this is a result of the infrastructure; the roads in Beijing are much better and therefore safer for cyclists than in my hometown.
    自行車在我家鄉(xiāng)很流行，但是和北京這種大城市相比，騎自行車的人是少數(shù)。盡管路程很近，騎自行車的人還是不多，我覺得是基礎設施(差)導致的，北京的路況更好些，因此對騎行的人來說更安全。

    How often do you ride a bicycle? Why? /Why not?
    Now that I live in Beijing, I ride a bicycle every day. I recently bought an expensive, very fast bike after I realized that a good bike could save me money on my daily commute to work, and now I get there just as quickly as using a subway, but I also get to be outside in the fresh air, with regular exercise built into my daily routine.
    我現(xiàn)在在北京，每天都騎車。最近在我意識到一輛好車可以幫我省掉通勤的路費之后，我就買了一輛很貴而且特別快的自行車。現(xiàn)在到達目的地的時間和坐地鐵差不多，還能在享受到外面的空氣的同時把規(guī)律的鍛煉列入日程。
    Do you think that bicycles are suitable for all ages? Why? /Why not?
    I think kids should learn to ride bicycles as soon as they are big enough to use one. Parents who delay teaching their children to ride a bicycle for whatever reason are doing a huge disservice to their children.
    我認為孩子到了一定年齡就應該學自行車了。推遲教孩子騎車的父母們不論出于什么原因都沒有幫到他們的孩子。
    What are the advantages of a bicycle compared to a car? Why?
    Though I like driving, I much prefer cycling for several reasons. Firstly, bicycles get through traffic while cars get stuck in traffic jams. This is particularly prevalent in cities, where rush hour causes huge problems for commuters every day of the week. Secondly, I try to be environmentally conscious wherever I can, so I prefer not to use a gas-guzzling vehicle whenever I have the chance. Plus, that way I don’t have to pay the high rates for petrol!
    雖然我喜歡開車，但是由于一些原因我更喜歡騎行。首先，當汽車堵在路上時，自行車可以輕易通過。這在城市里面很常見，特別是每天的高峰期的時候，給通勤者造成很大問題。其次，我盡量有環(huán)境意識，所以我能選擇的時候我更愿意不用耗油的車。再加上，騎車不用付高額油費。
