Do you use computers very much?
    Yes. I use computers every day of the week, both at school and at home. Whether I stay at home or go out, I usually carry my laptop with me, so that I can take my work with me, too. It’s one way I manage to get everything done, because I can even get work done on the subway!

    Have computers changed your life in any way?
    Computers have been a part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. What I think has changed my life the most is access to the internet, which has vastly improved over the last 10 years. Now I can use the internet wherever I want to, to gather information, talk with my friends and call my family several thousand miles away.

    Of course! I can’t imagine my everyday life without a computer. It is hard for me to imagine any kind of life without a computer. I rely on my laptop for so many things that I feel lost without it, even just when the battery dies!

    Do you think there are any disadvantages to using computers?
    The only disadvantage to using computers, in my opinion, is their overuse. Some people use computers so regularly they can get addicted to computer games or surfing the internet. Many health problems can arise for those people who spend too much time in front of a screen and not enough time taking care of their bodies.

    Computers are now used a lot in education. What do you think of this?
    Computer use is a valuable element of modern learning. As an educational tool, computers are convenient, easy to use and can broaden the skills of learners in a very short period of time. Without the use of computers, millions of students would not have access to resources beyond simple textbooks and their teacher’s opinions. That’s said, computers are not always used to reinforce positive learning practices, and students should not rely solely on computers for their learning.
    電腦的使用是現(xiàn)代學(xué)習(xí)的一個有價值的元素。作為一個教育工具，電腦方便，容易使用，并且可以在很短時間內(nèi)拓寬學(xué)習(xí)者的技能。 不使用電腦的話，上百萬的學(xué)生將不能夠獲得超出簡單教科書的內(nèi)容和老師觀點(diǎn)以外的資源。也就是說，電腦并不總是用于加強(qiáng)積極的學(xué)習(xí)方法，學(xué)生也不能僅靠電腦來學(xué)習(xí)。
