    I agree with the statement that young people today know more about global events than their parents did before. I think the reason for this is mostly because of the internet. Nowadays, nearly everyone has access to the internet, via their computer or their smartphone, and it’s really easy to keep up with news and events from all around the world. So young people are constantly checking social media sites, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. And the great thing about those is that people now can easily see recent world headlines without really much effort at all. So I think because of that, young people today have much more exposure to global information than our parents did.
