一、公司簡介
摩根士丹利是一家全球的國際性金融服務公司，業(yè)務范圍涵蓋投資銀行、證券、投資管理以及財富管理。公司在全球42個國家設有超過1,200家辦事處，公司員工竭誠為各地企業(yè)、政府機關、事業(yè)機構和個人投資者提供服務。
摩根士丹利在亞洲已經活躍了超過35年，為客戶提供全套的產品及全面的服務。除了兩個地區(qū)中心香港和東京之外，公司還在北京、上海、珠海、臺北、首爾、新加坡、曼谷、孟買、悉尼與墨爾本設有辦事處。
摩根士丹利是最早進入中國的投資銀行之一，通過近二十年的不懈努力，目前已實現(xiàn)了多元化的商業(yè)平臺的構架，其中包括證券、商業(yè)銀行、資產管理和信托平臺。1995年，摩根士丹利與建行合資成立了中國首家國際化的投資銀行中國國際金融有限公司;2006年10月，收購珠海南通銀行100%股權，成立摩根士丹利國際銀行;2008年6月合資成立摩根士丹利華鑫基金;2008年11月入資杭州工商信托。2007年和2009年，中國投資有限公司投資摩根士丹利，占其約9.9%的股份。2011年5月，摩根士丹利人民幣私募股權管理公司在杭州成立。2011年6月摩根士丹利華鑫證券在上海正式成立，意味著公司業(yè)務拓展至a股市場的股票和債券的承銷，摩根士丹利從而進一步鞏固其在中國的在岸金融業(yè)務。摩根士丹利在外資投行中擁有較高的qfii投資額度(8.5億美元)。其離岸金融服務亦蓬勃發(fā)展，包括投資銀行、銷售交易、財富管理、投資管理等業(yè)務，旨在為客戶提供全方位的金融產品和服務。
2007年12月，摩根士丹利與中國投資有限公司(cic)達成協(xié)議，同意其成為摩根士丹利的長期投資者。2009年6月，摩根士丹利增發(fā)普通股，中投公司購入12億美元的普通股，將持股比例維持在9.86%。中投公司的注資進一步體現(xiàn)了摩根士丹利在中國的深厚歷史淵源和市場領導地位。
摩根士丹利與許多亞洲國家政府有著密切的合作，在一些國營企業(yè)的重組及私營化項目中發(fā)揮了重要作用。同時，公司還為亞洲的龍頭企業(yè)擔任顧問，協(xié)助他們進行復雜的境內和跨境并購，以及在本地和國際資本市場上發(fā)股發(fā)債進行融資。
