Job Description:
Operations Specialist is a member of the operations department and responsible on servicing UAS client’s flights by ensuring all the services need for their trips is arranged and followed up with the concerned vendor to ensure a complete successful flight.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently processing and planning client’s requests in accordance with statutory requirements and company policy as defined in the OM and SOP.
Examining regulatory and permit requirements , over flight & landing clearances as well as coordinating all other flight operations activities
Coordinating with Handlers, FBOs and third party vendors to ensure smooth handling of client’s flights.
Preparing and filing flight plans for any flight as per client’s specific requirement.
Answer any inquiry from clients relating to operations requirement and follow up on flight movement reports.
Utilizing the following manuals and documents available in the Operations library to ensure quality services:
AIC (Aeronautical Information circulars)
ANO (Air Navigation Orders) and Regulations.
Company Operations Manuals
Operational Notifications
AIP/AIS
Quality Assurance Manual.
Desired Qualifications:
5+ Years of Experience in flight or Ground Operations preferably in International operations.
Dispatcher license is an advantage but not essential.
Good knowledge of : ANO, AIC, IATA Standard Ground Handling Manual, IATA Dangerous Goods regulation, Freedoms of Air implementation by different countries and basic knowledge of JAA and FAA regulation and requirements.
Ability to read and build flight plan.
Knowledge of SITA, AFTN, ARINC and Jeppesen software is an advantage.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of aviation technology, systems, aircraft components, and flight operations terminology.
Team player with the ability to self-manage and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Fluent in English language with preference of fluency in other languages.
Strong computer and Microsoft office skill.
Ability to work in shift pattern occasionally and adaptability to work pressure.
