w: the cheapest one we have is $1,215.

m: have you ever been to china?
w: i want to someday. so far i've been to canada, mexico, and japan. why don't you have a real hobby? are you lazy`?
m: i like bowling but it' s kind of expensive. the reason i don't have a hobby is that i don't have the time.
w: i understand. being a traveling businessman is really harder than most people think.

w: you say you like watching and playing baseball, tom. don't you play any other outdoor game?
m: no, i don't. but i like watching tennis. i go to wimbledon every year to watch the championships, and when i can't, i follow the matches on tv. it's exciting. how about you? do you like watching tennis?
w: well, yes. but i prefer watching team games.
m: what aboc1 indoor games? do you play any? i used to be quite good at ping-pong.
w: no. i don't play ping-gong or badminton. i don't think i' m the type for indoor games. i like to be out in the open air.
m: but surely you like basketball i it' s a marvelous outdoor game.
w：yes，it is．i quite like watching it，but i’ve never wanted to play it.
m：the only indoor game i’ve never played is cards．playing cards bores me to death．

this is the first year that nancy and harry are going on vacation without any of their children. their son is away at college this summer，and their two daughters are married．they feel a little lonely without the children，but it’s nice，too．they don’t have to worry about where the children are or what they’re doing．
both harry and nancy are good cooks．nancy cooks one night，and harry cooks the next. after they do the dishes，they watch tv or play cards with the couple next door. sometimes they drive to town to see a movie．they usually stay up late at night．
nancy and harry also like to go for long walks together．there’s a state park a few miles from their house．they drive to the park and walk in the woods．the air there is fresh，and the trees are pretty．it’s good to be away from the heat and the noise of miami and to be able to forget their offices and shops．
