口語(yǔ)第一題：Your friend often feels nervous when speaking in front of a large group of people. One suggestions would you give to your friend.
第二題： When you take a trip, do you prefer to just look around, or do you prefer to take pictures and keep a journal?
第三題： The student letter suggests that the school should allow students to drink beverages in the library. It reasons that students need coffee or tea to refresh their mind while reading in the library, and that they will do so carefully in order not to spill any drink. However, in the conversation, the girl expresses strong disagreement. She argues that first, there is a café not far away from the library. Taking a few minutes off from studying in the library and having a little walk is a good way to relax. Also, accidents do happen sometimes no matter how careful you are with the beverage, so in the long run, there will be stains on the book or damage to the computer.
第四題：information overload, 意思就是 amount of information exceeds people’s capacity to process it，much information that people can't process it.教授給了兩個(gè)例子，第一個(gè)例子就是招聘員工，第一天就收到了很多application，沒(méi)有很多時(shí)間去看這些，只有挑一些重要的information，其余的部分有時(shí)間再看。
第五題：女生學(xué)習(xí)很忙，還有part time job,所以沒(méi)有時(shí)間去gym鍛煉，有兩個(gè)解決方法，第一個(gè)是騎車去學(xué)校而不坐公交，但是時(shí)間很長(zhǎng)，外面天氣很熱。第二種方法是早起去健身房，健身完了可以洗澡，但是要早起。
第六題： Arctic的動(dòng)物有2種方法適應(yīng)寒冷的天氣，第一種就是basking,蝴蝶展開(kāi)翅膀，吸收solar energy,保持自身溫度。第二種是freezing tolerence, 盡管體內(nèi)水分凍結(jié)，但是他體內(nèi)的chemical物質(zhì)可以防止凍傷，當(dāng)溫度回升的時(shí)候，會(huì)thaw然后恢復(fù)active to normal.
