明天就要搬家了，可胡迪和巴斯不見了，安弟非常擔(dān)心。“我們不能就這樣把他們?nèi)釉谶@兒！”安弟在入睡前自言自語(yǔ)地說(shuō)。過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，他進(jìn)入了夢(mèng)鄉(xiāng)。在希德的房間里，不幸的巴斯一遍一遍地對(duì)自己說(shuō)：“我只不過(guò)是個(gè)沒用的玩具，沒用的玩具……”“喂，你不要這樣！安弟和我都喜歡你！”胡迪捧著巴斯頭盔大聲對(duì)他說(shuō)。就在這一刻，胡迪明白了，巴斯也是他的朋友。而巴斯也被胡迪真誠(chéng)的話語(yǔ)打動(dòng)了，他又恢復(fù)了自信。
第二天早晨，胡迪把那些怪模怪樣的玩具都召集到一起?！拔覀儽仨毦染劝退?。”他說(shuō)。就在希德準(zhǔn)備把巴斯發(fā)射上天的時(shí)候，玩具們包圍了他?！安辉S你這樣對(duì)待巴斯，以后你必須好好對(duì)待玩具！”胡迪和玩具們對(duì)希德嚴(yán)厲地說(shuō)。希德嚇得逃跑了。玩具們勝利了！胡迪和巴斯獲得了自由。這時(shí)，他們看到搬家的卡車從安弟家門前開走了。
胡迪和巴斯跳上了一輛裝電池的玩具車。車像箭一樣地向前沖去?！翱禳c(diǎn)，再快點(diǎn)！”胡迪嚷道。就在他們眼看就要趕上卡車的時(shí)候，電池沒電了。緊急關(guān)頭，胡迪機(jī)敏地點(diǎn)著了巴斯背上的火箭，他們又飛了起來(lái)。
“嘿，我們飛起來(lái)了，巴斯！”胡迪歡呼著。他們飛得很高很快，最后正好落到了卡車上！安弟看到了這兩個(gè)他最喜愛的玩具又回來(lái)了，高興地把他們抱在懷里。胡迪和巴斯也最終明白了，友誼才能給人帶來(lái)真正的快樂。
幾個(gè)月后，圣誕節(jié)到了，玩具們又一次急切地盼望看到安弟的新玩具?！皠e害怕，”胡迪對(duì)巴斯說(shuō)，“安弟還能得到比你更棒的玩具嗎？”過(guò)了一會(huì)兒，玩具們有了答案——是只真正的小狗！大家全都興奮得歡呼起來(lái)。
