Job Description
Job title: Summer Analyst Location: Beijing Start Date: Summer 2012
Our Summer Analysts are provided with the opportunity to experience the life of a Full-Time Research Analyst by supporting all the investment professional s in identifying and analyzing investments:
- Analyze financial performance and evaluate industry potential, competitive ness, suppliers, customers, etc. of the target company - Research information about the industry through financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews - Gather and interpret data affecting investments, such as price, yield, sta bility, future trends in investment risks, economic influences - Present oral and written reports on general economic trends and private eq uity dynamics through research about market ratios and news on a weekly basis - Write initial drafts of investment presentations and memos in English and Chinese, which are reviewed and presented by senior staff to the Investment C ommittee
Qualifications
- Bachelor or above with graduation in 2013 - Good command of both Chinese and English as working languages. - Computer proficiency, especially familiarity with Microsoft Excel. - Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting. - Passion about understanding how companies operate and create value for inv estors. - Work style: Entrepreneurial, with a collaborative, team-based approach.
