Movies 　　 　　I like watching movies. There’s a cinema near my home，which is named “Vanda Cinema”．It’s a big modern cinema in Beijing, so they always play the very latest movies．And, the ticket price is affordable to average peoples． 　　Sometimes during the weekends, I watch movies online at home together with my parents. I prefer to watch movies at home. Firstly, watching movies at home can be very easy and a lot cheaper. I can buy movie discs and enjoy many interesting movies at home. Secondly, watching movies at home can be very comfortable. I can eat snacks and sit back and enjoy a film on the computer. 　　I love to watch the US action movies and Hong Kong comedy movies. I find a lot of fun from watching these movies. I don’t like horror movies. Last week, I watched a horror movie named “Phantom of the Louvre”(盧浮魅影), I was so scared that I can’t sleep at the night. 　　I’m a fan of Zhou Xingchi, the famous movie star from Hong Kong. I’ve watched most of his movies. My favorite one is “Kong Fu”, I watched it for many times. I find a lot of fun from watching his movies. 　　 　　Television 　　 　　I seldom watch TV, because I’m sick of the commercial advertisements that frequently interrupt the teleplays and the movies shown on TV. You know, the pupils like us don’t have much time for entertainment. We have so many courses to attend and so much homework to do. So it seems to me that watching advertisements on TV is really a waste of time. I’d rather to read novels or play table tennis with my parents. 　　 　　Music 　　 　　I like music. I began to study playing electronic organ when I was 5 years ago. I know how to perform many classical music songs. My music teacher once told me that I was a very talented boy, because I can understand the mood and emotion of the music. 　　I also love pop music. I often listen to music on my Dad’s car when he drives me to school. I can sing many popular songs in Chinese. However, I don’t know any English songs, except Happy New Year and Happy Birthday. I’m a big fan of Jay Zhou. Most of his songs are rap music and have both Chinese and western styles. 　　Sometimes I go to live concerts with my parents. I went to New Year’s Concert at the Great Hall of the People with my grandma last New Year’s Day. I thought it’s terrific. 　　Once I’ve been to the National Grand Theatre and watched a French opera named “the King”. I didn’t know a word because it’s in French. However, I thought the National Grand Theatre was spectacular. 　　I don’t know anything about Peking Opera. I think schools should promote the Chinese traditional arts like Peking Opera among our pupils.
