Good morning. In today's press conference, I'd like to extend my gratitude and health-felt warmth to all of you （With gratitude and enthusiasm, I attend today's press conference）. To begin with, I'd like to announce that my trip to Taiwan has fulfilled its goals.
During my visit, we, Chairman Jiang and I, have signed four agreements on air links, shipping, post service and food safety. We've also reached consensus over the improvement of tourism policies concerning tourists from the Mainland to Taiwan, and over the strengthening of our ties in business, industry and financial cooperation. The air-links and post service across the Strait that we've longed for over the past 30 years are becoming realities. The three direct links will bring us to the times when we can travel between the Mainland and Taiwan, a trip of a thousand miles, within a single day （其實(shí)用插入語就可以了）.
As for the future path of cross-strait relations, I'd like to say that peace and growth are to the interest of the Mainland and Taiwan. They are the right direction that our history is heading for and our inevitable choice. We are perfectly aware of what you've undergone in the last century, and of the fact that some of you may disagree with us. After all, we've passed through many ups and downs over the past 60 years, which requires us to communicate and solve our problems in honesty and patience. With our kindness, wisdom, devotion to the common interest and livelihood of the people, and our mutual understanding, we can accomplish the goal in collaborative efforts （因?yàn)樯厦嬉痪湟呀?jīng)有了solve our problems，所以這句就用了accomplish the goal代指前面的解決問題）. So long as we still try to bridge our differences through negotiation, and replace antagonism with cooperation, we will appeal to more of our fellow citizens and take a wider path of peaceful development across the Taiwan Strait.
Over the past four days, we've met some old friends who've made important contribution to the cross-strait relations and some new friends who are concerned about this negotiation （the one between ARATS and SEF）. We've also watched the film Cape No.7 and had a taste of Malasun, which helped me understand the virtues of Taiwanese. We felt their hospitality and mainstream public opinions. I believe in the near future people on both sides of the Strait will enjoy their friendship and warmth in person （這里的“關(guān)懷”非常難翻譯，我覺得不是care，所以用了friendship & warmth的綜合，希望大家能提供更好的參考意見）.

訪臺期間，我和江丙坤董事長分別代表兩岸簽署了空運(yùn)、海運(yùn)、郵政和食品安全四項(xiàng)協(xié)議，并就改善大陸居民赴臺灣旅游措施，及加強(qiáng)兩岸工商、航運(yùn)和金融合作達(dá)成了許多共識。兩岸同胞渴望三十年的通航、通郵正變?yōu)楝F(xiàn)實(shí)，“大三通”時(shí)代的到來將把人們帶入“一日生活圈”，兩岸真正實(shí)現(xiàn)“千里一日還”。
就兩岸關(guān)系未來的路應(yīng)該怎么走，我的回答是：兩岸關(guān)系和平發(fā)展，符合兩岸同胞的利益，是歷史發(fā)展的正確方向，一定成為兩岸同胞的必然選擇。我們了解百年滄桑中臺灣同胞的遭遇，知道有些同胞對兩岸關(guān)系有不同的看法，畢竟兩岸近六十年舞臺上，我們的這個(gè)民族上演了無數(shù)的悲歡離合。這需要我們更真誠、更耐心地去溝通、化解。只要我們秉承善意、運(yùn)用智慧，深入解決攸關(guān)人民利益的經(jīng)濟(jì)議題和民生問題，增進(jìn)互信，完全可以通過共同努力，創(chuàng)造條件，解決歷史遺留的復(fù)雜問題，本著以協(xié)商化解分歧，以合作取代對抗的精神，一定會感召越來越多的同胞，兩岸關(guān)系和平發(fā)展的道路一定會越走越寬。
在臺灣的4天生活中，我們見到了為兩岸關(guān)系發(fā)展作出貢獻(xiàn)的老朋友，也結(jié)識了關(guān)心兩會協(xié)商的新朋友，觀看了電影《海角七號》，還品嘗了臺灣少數(shù)民族所釀制的“馬拉?！本频?，增進(jìn)了對臺灣人民勤奮善良優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)的了解。從他們身上，我們深切地感受到臺灣人民的待客之道，深切地感受到臺灣社會的主流民意。我相信，在不遠(yuǎn)的將來，兩岸人民都能親自互相感受彼此的關(guān)懷。
