英國石油：全球油價將維持高位
     Browne tips oil price to stay up
    英國石油(BP) 首席執(zhí)行官布朗勛爵(Lord Browne)昨日表示，短期內(nèi)油價可能仍將維持高位，因為政治方面的不確定因素，蓋過了石油并不短缺這一事實。
     Lord Browne, chief executive of BP, yesterday said oil prices were likely to stay high in the short term as political uncertainty outweighs the fact that there is no shortage of oil.
    在英國石油發(fā)布第一季度業(yè)績之際，布朗勛爵表示，這些不確定因素可能很快導致英國汽油價格突破每升1英鎊(合1.78美元)。最近，英國無鉛汽油平均價格漲至每升95.5便士。
     Speaking as the oil major unveiled first quarter results, Lord Browne said the uncertainty could soon cause UK petrol prices to exceed £1 ($1.78) a litre. The average cost of a litre of unleaded petrol in the UK rose recently to 95½p.
    最近幾周油價大幅攀升，昨日交易價格為每桶略高于72美元。布朗勛爵表示，油價沖高并非由于供應(yīng)不足，因為石油庫存量實際上在上升。
     The oil price has risen sharply in recent weeks and was yesterday trading at just above $72 a barrel. Lord Browne said the price spike was not caused by a lack of supply, as inventories of oil were actually rising.
