belong
    belong是表示狀態(tài)的不及物動詞，常與介詞to連用，不用于被動語態(tài)，也不用于進行時態(tài)。belong to意為“（在所有權(quán)、關(guān)系等方面）屬于；是……的成員”。belong也可跟其它形式的狀語（如介詞短語、副詞或狀語從句）。如：
    The fruit of the experiment belongs to everyone here.
    這個實驗的成果屬于這里的每個人。
    As a writer, he really belongs to the 18th century.
    作為一個作家，他其實是屬于18世紀的。
    Such an attitude doesn’t belong in modern society.
