    SAT作文考察的是在短時(shí)間內(nèi)表達(dá)、展開觀點(diǎn)的能力，那么如果想用充分地闡述自己的觀點(diǎn)立場，就需要用充分有效的例證來支持你的觀點(diǎn)，做好例證的關(guān)鍵就是需要你使用“頭腦風(fēng)暴”(brainstorming)的方法搜集一切你可能可以想到的例證。建議考生在選擇例證時(shí)挑選以下三種：
    1.哪些例證是體的，是和作文主題密切相關(guān)的?
    2.哪些例證具有最廣的范圍(即例證會涉及到不同的領(lǐng)域)?
    3.哪些例證是沒有爭議的?
    下面提供給考生們一個“頭腦風(fēng)暴”(brainstorming)例子：
    作文主題題目是這樣的："There's no success like failure"(失敗是成功之母)。建議考生們可以從以下8個方面進(jìn)行例證的搜集，但有些方面你可能想不出合適的例證，但在作文構(gòu)思的時(shí)候也應(yīng)該把他們例出：
