連詞and是英語中一個十分有用的詞，它在初中英語中一共有五種用法，你都知道嗎？
    一、表并列
    表示并列，既可連接兩個詞或短語，也可連接兩個句子，意為“和”“又”“而且”。如：
    We study English and French. 我們學習英語和法語。
    I went and she went too. 我去了，她也去了。
    二、表示連續(xù)性
    有時用于連接兩個相同的詞語，表示動作的持續(xù)或反復。如：
    The boys laughed and laughed. 這些孩子笑個不停。
    I tried again and again. 我試了又試。
    另外，它還可用于連接兩個相同的比較級，表示程度不斷加深。如：
    The train ran faster and faster. 火車開得越來越快。
    It was raining harder and harder. 雨越下越大。
    三、表示目的
    在口語中用在 come, go, try, wait 等之后表示目的，大致相當于不定式符號 to。如：
    Come and have tea with me. 過來跟我一起喝杯茶。
    Try and finish the work in a week. 設法在一周之內(nèi)完成這項工作。
    四、表示結(jié)果
    用在祈使句后，可表示結(jié)果，意為“那么”。如：
    Work hard and you’ll succeed. 努力干吧，你會成功的。
    Give him an inch and he will take a mile. 他會得寸進尺。

    If you work hard, you’ll succeed. 努力干吧，你會成功的。

    五、表示加法
    有時用于連接數(shù)詞，表示將它們相加。如：
    What does two and five make? 二加五等于多少？
    Four and three makes eleven. 四加三等于七。
