1.過去進(jìn)行時與when和while
1:I was having dinner at a restaurant when Tony Steele came in.(when引導(dǎo)出一個時間點的概念,在這個時間點上,另外一個人以及與這個人相關(guān)的另外一個動作正在發(fā)生著,所以,用過去進(jìn)行時)
示例2:While he was eating, I asked him to lend me 20 pounds.(while引出的是一個時間段的概念,在這個時間段里,一個人正處于做著某事的過程中,同時,另外一個人以及與這個人相關(guān)的另外一個動作發(fā)生了)
2.…, but…
1:Tony worked in a lawyer’s office years ago, but he is now working at a bank.
示例2:He gets a good salary, but he always borrows money from his friends.
