高考英語(yǔ)單詞用法：whatever的用法
    Whatever有兩個(gè)用法，一是引導(dǎo)名詞性從句（如主語(yǔ)從句、賓語(yǔ)從句、表語(yǔ)從句），二是用于引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句。
    1. 用于引導(dǎo)名詞性從句
    Whatever she did was right. 她做的一切都是對(duì)的。
    Whatever she did was right. 她做的一切都是對(duì)的。
    I will do whatever you wish. 我可做任何你想我做的事。
    Give them whatever they desire. 他們想要什么就給他們什么。
    Whatever I have is at your service. 我所有的一切都由你使用。
    You may do whatever you want to do. 無(wú)論你想做什么事，你都可以做。
    I’ll just say whatever comes into my head. 一我想到什么就說(shuō)什么。
    One should stick to whatever one has begun. 開(kāi)始了的事就要堅(jiān)持下去。
    She would tell him whatever news she got. 她得到的任何消息都會(huì)告訴他。
    I’m going to learn whatever my tutor wishes. 我將學(xué)習(xí)任何我的導(dǎo)師愿意我學(xué)的東西。
    College students are seen doing whatever work they can find. 我們可以看到,只要有工作，大學(xué)生們什么都干。
    Do whatever she tells you and you’ll have peace. 她叫你干什么你就干什么,那你就太平了。
    2. 用于引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句
    Whatever we said, he’d disagree. 無(wú)論我們說(shuō)什么，他都不同意。
    Whatever happened I must be calm. 不管發(fā)生什么情況我都要鎮(zhèn)靜。
    We’ll go along together whatever happens. 不管發(fā)生什么情況我們都要起干。
    Don’t lose heart whatever difficulties you meet. 不管遇到什么困難都不要灰心。
    Whatever you do, I won’t tell you my secret. 不管你做什么，我都不會(huì)把我的秘密告訴你。
    Whatever happens, we’ll meet here tonight. 不管發(fā)生什么事情，我們今晚都在這兒碰頭。
    Whatever happens, the first important thing is to keep cool. 不管發(fā)生什么事,頭等重要的是保持冷靜。
    【注意1】
    whatever還可用于加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣，相當(dāng)于what ever, what on earth等。如：
    Whatever is the matter? 這是怎么回事?
    Whatever does he mean? 他到底是什么意思?
    【注意2】
    Whatever從句有時(shí)可以省略。如：
    Whatever your argument, I shall hold to my decision. 不管你怎樣爭(zhēng)辯，我還是堅(jiān)持自己的決定。
