    中國政府對日本政府“購買”釣魚島的決定做出了堅決的回應，于周一公布了釣魚島及其附屬島嶼的領?；c和基線。
    Territorial coordinates指“領土坐標”，是由base points(基點)連成的baselines(基線)組成的，能精確標示國家邊境。“領海基線”就是territorial sea baseline。
    中華人民共和國領?；€采用直線基線法劃定，由各相鄰基點之間的直線連線組成。基線里面向陸地一側的水域就是內(nèi)水(internal waters)，向海的一側首先是領海(territorial waters)，后面還會有專屬經(jīng)濟區(qū)(Exclusive Economic Zone)和大陸架(the Continental Shelf)等各種管轄海域。
    同時，中國政府還宣布將對釣魚島及其附屬島嶼開展normalized surveillance and monitoring(常態(tài)化監(jiān)視監(jiān)測)。
