E.g. Tom doesn't want anyone to steal his drink so he puts a sign on it saying, " I spat in this beer, do not drink!". After a few minutes he returns and there is another sign next to his beer saying, "So did I!"
湯姆不想別人偷喝他的啤酒，所以他在上面貼了張條，上面寫著“我在啤酒里吐了吐沫！”過了幾分鐘，他回來的時候發(fā)現(xiàn)他的紙條旁邊有另外一張紙條，上面寫著“我也吐了吐沫！”
2. pass sb. Sth=pass sth. to sb. 遞給某人某物
E.g. Pass me the sugar!= Pass the sugar to me! 把糖遞給我!
E.g. On his death, the farm will pass to his son. 他一死，這農(nóng)場就傳給他兒子。

3. either……or或者；不是，就是

E.g. She likes neither butter nor cheese. 她既不喜歡黃油也不喜歡乳酪。
5. It seems that
E.g. It seems that he is lying.看來他在撒謊。
E.g. It seemed that no one knew what happened.看來沒有人知道發(fā)生了什么事。
6. find sb. doing sth. 發(fā)現(xiàn)某人正在做某事
E.g. I find the girls dancing under the tree. 我發(fā)現(xiàn)姑娘們正在樹下跳舞。
☆注意：find sb do sth 無此表達(dá)。
另外有find sth done發(fā)現(xiàn)某事已被做完
E.g. I found the work finished.我發(fā)現(xiàn)工作被別人做完了.
