    I want to talk about how I learnt painting.At the very beginning, I didn't know anything about painting, so I searched on the internet for painting courses of basic level and attended one. In the two-month course, I learnt about composition, structure and shapes, and colors and shadows. I got familiar with the basic painting skills. After the course, I practiced a lot on my own and often communicated with teachers and friends I met in the course. I gradually began to express my passion and understanding of the world in my painting. This is my experience of learning painting. Now, I really enjoy it very much.
    2. Which technology has made the greatest impact on people’s life in your country: airplane, computer or television?

    In my opinion, computer has made the greatest influence on people's life in my country. First of all, it is one of the best communication tools. In the past, if we wanted to chat with somebody faraway, we would have to write a letter, mail it out and wait for the person to mail his/hers back. However, we can write an email now instead and it just takes a few seconds to send it to the person. Secondly, it helps people a lot in their work. For example, they can make PowerPoint and give a presentation using the computer. Also, they can have a business meeting with a company oversea via the video chat software.To sum up, computer affects people's life a lot in my country.
    3. Describe your favorite room either of your own house or in other places and explain why.

    My favorite room in my house is the kitchen. First, I enjoy cooking a lot. Many of my friends usually go shopping or hang out with others when they are free. For me, I often choose cooking. When see my beloved family and friends express their excitement of the food I made, I feel satisfied. Second, I love to purchase different kinds of kitchenware and put them in my kitchen. I can pick up any kitchenware when I am cooking. It's very handy and convenient. Therefore, I see the kitchen in my house as my favorite room.

    12. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement, it is better to live close to parents than far away from them.

    I agree with the statement that it's better to live closer to our parents.There are two reasons. To begin with, we can take care of each other more easily. For example, I get super busy toward the end of each semester, my mom would cook me meals so I can save the trouble of doing so myself. Plus, parents are getting old, if we live close, I will be able to take care them if one of them is sick. Second, I can help them out when they need me. For example, I can help them to shop on the weekend when there's too much for them to carry, and clean our apartment on a daily basis to make them live comfortable.
    13. Do you agree or disagree that students should take some additional courses so that they can get their credits more quickly?

    Personally speaking, taking additional courses shouldn't be encouraged at school. To begin with, the purpose of attending school is not only limited to obtaining credits and degrees, but also taking time to ponder on the moment of truth and take pleasure to swim in the sea of knowledge. Extra time and energy could spill over better places like reading extensively as well as intensively on areas of interest, and participating in all sorts of seminars to learn from established professors and curious peers. Besides, school is a wonderful place to meet like-mind souls and appreciate the attractiveness of differences. Spending more time learning from people around you is much more valuable than getting lost in the hustle and bustle of earning credits.
    14. Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Teachers should make their lessons fun.

    Response:
    I agree with the point that teachers should make their lessons fun. There are two reasons that I want to mention. First of all, fun lessons will activate students' interest for learning. studying is not a fun task. Also, students at young ages have to be motivated. By simply pushing them to study, the result will turn out to be bad. On the other hand, if the teachers make their lessons more fun, these students will be willing to learn more actively. Second of all, making lessons fun will strength the teachers' competitive advantage. That's because students sometimes need to choose classes they plan to take. If the teachers' class is fun, more students will love to choose that class. This is an advantage for the teachers as well as their career.
