    根據官方指南的說明，對于雅思口語的評分標準有三：delivery，language use和topic development.其中topic development一項的定義是：How fully you answer the question and how coherently you present your ideas. 我們注意到這一項標準要求我們的答案充實(full)和連貫(coherent)，那么什么叫做連貫呢?
    指南上對于連貫的描述是：the relationship between ideas and the progression from one idea to the next is clear and easy to follow.就是說觀點之間的關系要明確，從一個觀點講到另外一個觀點的過程也要很清楚。
    那么我們該如何做到呢?
    首先我們要了解表達兩個句子關系的方法：
    其中一種方法就是所謂的明連接，主要體現(xiàn)在形式上：就是利用because, as, while, if, however, therefore, although, similarly, consequently, nevertheless，first和 second等連詞或者副詞表達因果，并列和轉折等關系。
    另一種方法則是暗連接，主要體現(xiàn)在語義上： 通過使用指示代詞、人稱代詞等對前一句中出現(xiàn)過的內容進行指代，或者對前一句話中出現(xiàn)的關鍵詞進行轉述，解釋，從而形成自然的承接關系。
    我們看下面一則故事的節(jié)選：
    Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention.
    這則故事語法準確，內容充實，但是在連貫性上略遜一籌。我們嘗試通過明連接和暗連接兩種方法來潤色該文章。
    Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat there. The play was very interesting，but I did not enjoy it. It is because a young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry with them for I could not hear the actors. I turned round and looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention to me.
    修改后使用了明連接和暗連接，對照原文，文章的連貫性有了較大的改善，讀起來更加順暢。
    托?？谡Z的回答可以看作是一個個的argument，對于連貫性的要求更高。除了句子之間要有聯(lián)系以外，我們還要注意到段與段之間的聯(lián)系。通常我們用總分(一個主題，兩個分論點，每個分論點后面加例子)的結構來回答。主題句中表明觀點后可以加上because，for two reasons 表明和后面兩段話的因果關系。而兩個分論點前面可以用first和second這樣的序數詞來表示兩段的并列關系，也可以在兩段之間加上表示遞進關系的what‘s more，further more， moreover等詞。此外每個分論點的例子要在語義上(暗連接)對于分論點進行支持。
    比如該題為：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
    In my view, people sometimes should do things that they don’t enjoy for two reasons:
    First, they can learn something new from it.
    For example, when I was a senior high school student, I was asked to play a role in a play. I had never done that before and I didn’t want to do it. However, from that Igained a lot of experience about how to perform(呼應分論點一).
    Second, people may find that the things they don’t want to do are actuallyinteresting. For example, when I was preparing for that play, I found that it was a lot of fun to learn my lines and perform with a large group of people. Because of this, I think doing things that I don’t like may turn out to be a good experience(此句呼應分論點二).
