從08年全年雅思寫作Task2來看，話題還是集中于教育、社會與科技發(fā)展這些話題，但是在話題的提示上在整年上開始偏重于“發(fā)展和發(fā)展中帶來問題”上，比如象“農(nóng)業(yè)新產(chǎn)品的推動”、“農(nóng)村的學(xué)生更容易融入大學(xué)生活”等等。在08全年中，這三個話題還是重頭戲，但是“教育與科技信息問題”上考試出題頻繁。而“全球化”， “犯罪話題”，“健康話題”幾乎與07年類似。而在今年出現(xiàn)的一些新話題中，也大多數(shù)是老題目新唱，比如說4月19日的人口小齡化問題就是歷年老齡化問題的翻新。因此，在08年全年的話題來看，話題變化并不大，只是在話題提示的方向上，有些小變化。因此，考生也可以預(yù)見09年的雅思寫作的話題上的變化趨勢。
但是，08年雅思在寫作的文體上變化較大，從全年的考題看來“agree or disagree”的優(yōu)缺點考題比例明顯縮小，而“discuss both sides”, “W hat is your opinion”這樣討論型的文體明顯見多，因此，可以看出考試在考生的寫作的思路深度上要求提高了。
因此，建議考生除了熟悉08年的全年題目的話題之外，更要在思路的深度上與文章的表現(xiàn)力上下功夫。
PS:08年共45個話題題，其中教育話題16個，社會與科技發(fā)展話題13個，全球化5個，犯罪話題3個，健康話題2個，其他新話題3個。具體如下：
