去年１２月１５號(hào)環(huán)球雅思在中國(guó)國(guó)家氣象局舉行的大型講座中，我明確提出了以下觀點(diǎn)：２００８雅思寫作必須出大量的新題才能和TOEFL iBT在商業(yè)上競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在IELTS又新簽下了很多大學(xué)，包括很多美國(guó)大學(xué)。而且它已經(jīng)在為Harvard,Columbia, Yale, Princeton這一級(jí)的世界名校寄送分?jǐn)?shù)，它必須投資開發(fā)新題。IELTS和TOEFLｉＢＴ在全球越來(lái)越激烈的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，這必然會(huì)導(dǎo)致兩個(gè)考試的比過(guò)去有根本的改變。這完全不是所謂“幾月變題”這樣簡(jiǎn)單的改變，這是一場(chǎng)要持續(xù)一兩年的變革。
下面給大家全面送出去年１２月１５日到今年３月１日的全部圖表和大作文題目。從中我們可以看出，至少一半左右的題目的類型和難度都已經(jīng)有了本質(zhì)變化，而且小作文的地圖題（１月２６日）和流程圖（２月１４日）間隔只有１８天，這也是過(guò)去三年從來(lái)沒(méi)有過(guò)的。因?yàn)椋裕希牛疲蹋椋拢缘拇嬖?，這次劍橋真的下決心要出新題了，包括象地圖和流程圖這樣的小作文題目也會(huì)有比過(guò)去更高的考察頻率。我們應(yīng)該及時(shí)的在教學(xué)中告訴學(xué)生對(duì)新題型的解答方法。如果還只用過(guò)去的題型教學(xué)，結(jié)果將導(dǎo)致考生輕敵并且對(duì)新題型準(zhǔn)備不足。

3 充分的準(zhǔn)備，不是抽簽式的碰運(yùn)氣，而是用真正實(shí)用而且高效率的方法抓住英語(yǔ)寫作本質(zhì)的內(nèi)容。這些新題目再怪再不像雅思作文，也總不會(huì)超過(guò)英文寫作的范圍。今后的考題，對(duì)寫作教師的英文寫作實(shí)力會(huì)有越來(lái)越高的要求。
