Do you often ride bikes?
Yes, I do. I reckon it as a very good physical exercise that not only builds up my body but also a spirit of perseverance.
考生在回答完是或否之后一定要進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)难由?,例如?jiǎn)單解釋原因。
Why so many people ride bikes in China?
Yes. China is once called “the Kingdom of Bicycles”. I guess the main reason why many people ride bicycles in China is that bicycles are cheap while cars are extremely expensive—each family can easily afford to buy at least one bicycle, whereas only a small percentage of families can afford to buy cars.
價(jià)格是主要因素,除此之外還有交通堵塞(traffic jam factor),鍛煉身體(physical exercise)等其他因素。
What differences between the views of the old and the young toward bikes?
For the old, bicycles are just transportation tools; they rarely care about the color, design or any accessories, gadgets you can put on your bike. Contrastingly for the young, they are often fussy about these things, for they think bicycles are more than just transportation tools—they are also an expression of who they are.
年輕人的典型特點(diǎn)就是追求時(shí)尚(pursuing fashion),而年長(zhǎng)者則更注重實(shí)際(the old are more practical)。
