套磁是提交美國(guó)高校的申請(qǐng)，必須要經(jīng)歷的步驟，而大家在進(jìn)行選擇的時(shí)候，就要確認(rèn)好自己的資格。今天和出國(guó)留學(xué)網(wǎng)來看看美國(guó)名校留學(xué)套磁要做好哪些準(zhǔn)備？
    準(zhǔn)備關(guān)鍵
    1.不要怕花時(shí)間，爭(zhēng)取多套一些學(xué)校，畢竟套磁的同時(shí)也可以選校；
    2.套磁的信盡量針對(duì)教授的研究領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行一下修改，如果你對(duì)這個(gè)領(lǐng)域很有心得，可以加上。套磁信的末尾附上簡(jiǎn)要版的CV；把套磁過的教授名字和信箱保留下來，有回復(fù)的標(biāo)出來，哪怕是模版；對(duì)于沒有回復(fù)的教授，過一段時(shí)間換個(gè)信箱騷擾一下；
    3.對(duì)同一個(gè)學(xué)校同一個(gè)系的老師，每天盡量只套一個(gè)；如果過兩天還是沒有回復(fù)，再換一個(gè)套；可以從某個(gè)領(lǐng)域的大牛開始，找他的學(xué)生，這樣在套磁對(duì)象上容易尋找；通過閱讀論文提問的方法可以考慮，但是畢竟比較花費(fèi)精力，大家酌情使用；套磁的時(shí)候可以多關(guān)注畢業(yè)沒多久的Assistant Professor；
    4.先從系里的老牛開始套（當(dāng)然，要沒退休的）。一般來說他們的時(shí)間比較多，回信率不低。雖然他們大多數(shù)都不會(huì)招生，但是你可以請(qǐng)他們推薦幾個(gè)同專業(yè)的老師（有時(shí)候他們也會(huì)主動(dòng)推薦）。這時(shí)候再聯(lián)系那些老師，套磁信里千萬不要亂表忠心，很容易引起反感，到時(shí)候想反悔也不好說?？梢钥紤]以詢問明年是否招生為名義，這樣比較合理，很多時(shí)候雖然沒套上，也能得到一些有利于選校的信息；
    5.聯(lián)系你感興趣的教授的中國(guó)學(xué)生也是個(gè)辦法。有些時(shí)候他們會(huì)把信轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)給老板或者其他教授，這樣就起到了吸引教授注意力的作用；很多時(shí)候還可以得到一些有價(jià)值的信息；
    6.中國(guó)老師也是一股不可小覷的力量，清華北大中科浙大的學(xué)生好申請(qǐng)就是因?yàn)槿嗣}的原因。如果有私人關(guān)系，那就好辦多了。一定要充分利用。想想看北大有幾個(gè)人是非北大背景的，想想我們英語系當(dāng)時(shí)有個(gè)山東大學(xué)的老師教我們散文，個(gè)人感覺他被北大幫擠兌死了，后來來了個(gè)留美的北大本科老師來代我們的散文課，系里那是一個(gè)夾道歡迎啊，回娘家的感覺。
    7.如果科研做的好，有參加國(guó)際會(huì)議的機(jī)會(huì)，一定不要放過。開會(huì)是最好的套磁地點(diǎn)。（不得不再提一下百年講堂什么的）多參加講座，每年都有不少國(guó)外教授來中國(guó)大學(xué)，利用講座機(jī)會(huì)多和他們聊聊。
    8.當(dāng)做了所有努力還是一無所獲的時(shí)候，不要放棄，成功一定是當(dāng)你嘗試過所有可能失敗的路徑并從中吸取教訓(xùn)之后才獲得的，當(dāng)然如果悟性高，也可以預(yù)先吸取前人經(jīng)驗(yàn)從而避免失敗的發(fā)生。
