1、闡述事實(shí)絕對(duì)真實(shí)
學(xué)生在準(zhǔn)備新加坡留學(xué)的申請(qǐng)文書時(shí),一定要在注意保證文中內(nèi)容的真實(shí)性,主要是你的個(gè)人信息、學(xué)習(xí)背景等。因?yàn)橐坏┠愕男畔⑻摷倩蚩浯笃湓~,讓招生官對(duì)你產(chǎn)生疑慮,或者招生官直接打電話到相關(guān)單位核實(shí)你的信息虛假,后果是很嚴(yán)重的。最直接的就是你的申請(qǐng)會(huì)被否決掉。
2、整體內(nèi)容精練簡(jiǎn)潔
文章內(nèi)容不要過(guò)長(zhǎng),簡(jiǎn)單精煉即可。有些學(xué)生想要陳述的太多,或者希望把所有曾經(jīng)獲得的榮譽(yù)、優(yōu)秀經(jīng)歷等一一羅列來(lái)為自己加分,但這種過(guò)長(zhǎng)又拖沓的文章招生官可能沒有時(shí)間也沒有耐心讀下去,說(shuō)不定會(huì)起到負(fù)面作用降低你的印象分,所以挑選幾個(gè)典型陳述就好。另外,文章一定要反復(fù)檢查,像病句錯(cuò)字這種低級(jí)錯(cuò)誤千萬(wàn)不能出現(xiàn)。
3、切忌盲目套用模板
學(xué)生在準(zhǔn)備文書的時(shí)候要注意三個(gè)文關(guān)鍵點(diǎn):
a、不要一味套用網(wǎng)上提供的規(guī)律寫作模板來(lái)回答問(wèn)題。因?yàn)檫@樣很容易偏移原來(lái)大學(xué)文書的主題,而大學(xué)審查官也很容易察覺這種寫作方式。
b、學(xué)會(huì)利用鮮活的實(shí)例,讓讀者進(jìn)入你的情境中,讓大學(xué)申請(qǐng)部的老師們可以感覺到申請(qǐng)人的想法。
c、依照自己的性格寫文書。在閱讀無(wú)數(shù)的文書后,閱卷老師已能分辨什么是誠(chéng)實(shí)與不誠(chéng)實(shí)的作答,可以區(qū)分什么是發(fā)自內(nèi)心回答,因而寫作時(shí)應(yīng)該讓文書有趣,卻又不可喪失自我。
注意事項(xiàng)
1、留學(xué)申請(qǐng)人在書寫留學(xué)文書的時(shí)候一定要闡明留學(xué)動(dòng)機(jī),如學(xué)生為什么會(huì)想到留學(xué)、為什么選擇新加坡留學(xué)以及為什么選擇這個(gè)學(xué)校專業(yè)之類的,而對(duì)于文書的篇幅要格外注意,不要出現(xiàn)流水賬,要盡量的簡(jiǎn)單明了,讓學(xué)校與審核官都能清楚的了解申請(qǐng)人的意愿。

3、避免不實(shí)吹捧以及“英國(guó)式低調(diào)”。留學(xué)申請(qǐng)個(gè)人自述中最常見的錯(cuò)誤就是把簡(jiǎn)歷或個(gè)人歷史重述一遍,沒有反思、評(píng)價(jià)和自我批評(píng)。還有一些人不愿意講自己,我們把這種情況叫作“英國(guó)式低調(diào)?!边@并不一定是一個(gè)錯(cuò)誤。事實(shí)上,在閱讀了無(wú)數(shù)自我吹捧(這是另一個(gè)陷阱)的文章后,這種文章倒讓人耳目一新。但是,如果申請(qǐng)人說(shuō)得太少,也會(huì)令我們無(wú)從得知他這樣做是出于謙遜呢?還是因?yàn)樽居诒磉_(dá),或者他沒有想到這篇文章對(duì)我們的重要性。
