高考英語聽力中數(shù)字聽力技巧
培養(yǎng)自己的耳朵對英文數(shù)字保持敏感是聽力訓練中一項必不可少的基本功。那么怎樣才能快捷有效地掌握這一技能呢?我們應從掌握數(shù)字的正確讀法開始。
基數(shù)詞的讀法
202讀作：two hundred(and)two
234讀作：two hundred(and)thirty four
1，234讀作：one thousand，two hundred(and)thirty four
但是在讀法上須注意以下幾點：
在英式英語中，一個數(shù)的最后兩位(十位和個位)得用"and''，但美式英語中則不用。如：
3，077 U.S：three thousand， seventy-seven.
不定冠詞"a"只在數(shù)的開頭才和hundred，thousand等連用。試比較：
146讀作：a hundred(and)forty-six
2，146讀作：two thousand，one hundred(and)forty-six
1，000這個整數(shù)我們說a thousand，在and前我們也說a thousand，但是在一個有百位數(shù)的數(shù)目前就得說one thousand試比較：
1,031讀作：a thousand，(and)thirty-one
1,150讀作：one thousand，one hundred(and)fifty
hundred，thousand和million這幾個詞的單數(shù)可以和"a"者"one"連用，但是不能單獨使用。在非正式文體中"a"比較常見;當我們說話比較準確的時候就用"one"試比較：
I Want to live for a hundred years.The journey took exactly one hundred days.
我們常常說eleven hundred(1，100)，twelve hundred(1,200)等，而不說one thous and one hundred.從1，100到1,900之間的整數(shù)，這種說法最常見。
11，234讀作：eleven thousand two hundred(and)，thirty-four
155,721讀作：one hundred(and)fifly-five thous and seven hundred(and)twenty-one
6，155，702讀作：six million one hundred(and)fifly-five thous and seven hundred and two
26，000，008讀作：twenty-six million and eight
326，414，718讀作：three hundred(and)twenty-six million，four hundred(and)four teen thous and，seven hundred(and)eighteen
4，302，000，000讀作：four billion three hundred(and)two million
由以上一組數(shù)字可以看出，多位數(shù)由右向左每3位有一逗號，這個逗號的作用非同小可，在記憶數(shù)字時，它可以幫我們很大的忙!
逆向第一個逗號讀thousand;向左再推三位，第二個逗號讀million;第三個逗號讀billion;第四個逗號就是 trillion。這幾個逗號的作用在于，當我們聽到若干thousand時，立即寫下這個數(shù)，并在其后打一個逗號，并留出3位;當聽到若干 million，則寫下數(shù)字，并在其后打一逗號，留出6位;聽到若干billion，方法同上，在后面留出9位，后面的million、thousand 依此法類推，讓所有數(shù)字各就其位。
例如，當你聽到"twenty thous and and four"寫出20，"and four"意為后一組僅有個位，即：004，那么，這個數(shù)字完整地寫下來就是20，004;若聽到"six million twenty thousand four hundred and twenty-three，"則第一步先寫：6，020，再將最后一組423寫在第一個逗號后面。完整的翠字為6，020，423。由此可見這個三位一逗號的作用有多大。只要我們在平時的訓練中加強對三位數(shù)讀寫的訓練，就能區(qū)分"ty"與"teen''，并能借助這個不可缺少的"逗號"，無論數(shù)字多么大，也不會對我們造成障礙。
序數(shù)詞的讀法
lst讀作：(the)first2nd讀作：(the)second3nd讀作：(the)third4th讀作： (the)fourth20th讀作：(the)twentieth21st讀作：(the)twenty-first22nd讀作： (the)twenty-second23rd讀作：(the)twenty-third其它以此類推。
小數(shù)含小數(shù)點的數(shù)字，小數(shù)點"."讀"point"，小數(shù)點后的數(shù)若是兩位以上，則分別讀出。
0.5讀作：zero point five0.25讀作：zerop point two five0.125讀作;zero point one two five93，64m讀作：ninety-three point six four meters2'15.11''讀作：two minutes fifteen point one one seconds
年代及日期的讀法數(shù)字表示的年份通常分成兩半來說：
2000B.C.讀作：two thousand BC1558讀作：fifteen fifty-eight1603讀作：six teen(hundred and)three/sixteen oh three921讀作：nine twenty-one
日期的表達英式和美式有所不同，請注意區(qū)別：英式先寫日子，美式先寫月份
英：1999年4月6日=6th April l999美：1999年4月6日=April 6，1999在讀法上，英國人有兩種表達方式：
April the sixth，nineteen ninety-nineThe sixth of April，nineteen ninety-nine
美國人則一般這樣表示：
April sixth，nineteen ninety-nine(省略"the")
鐘點的讀法鐘點的讀法分英式和美式兩種，我們應對此加以注意。英：
7：00 seven o'clock a.m./p.m.8：15 a quarter past eight/eight fifteen9：30 half past nine/nine thirty9：45 a quarter to ten/nine forty-five10：03 three(minutes)past ten/ten oh three美用法基本相似，只是英國用past之處，美國通常用after;英國用to之處，美國常用of。
5：15 a quarter after five/five fifteen9：30 nine thirty/half past nine9：45 a quarter of ten/nine forty-five9：55 five of ten/nine fifty-five
