1. 意義相當(dāng)于 before midday, in the morning, 所以不能與 in the morning 連用。如：
    正：at 7 a. m. 在上午七點(diǎn)
    正：at 7 (o’clock) in the morning 在上午七點(diǎn)
    誤：at 7 a. m. in the morning
    2. 不單獨(dú)使用，要與表示時(shí)間的數(shù)字連用 (置于數(shù)字之后)。如：
    Openfrom 8 a. m. to 6 p. m. (營(yíng)業(yè)時(shí)間)從上午8點(diǎn)到下午6點(diǎn)
    I’ll comeat 10:20 a. m. 我將明天上午10點(diǎn)20分來(lái)。
    3. 不能與 o’clock 連用。如：
    正：at 9 a. m. 在上午九點(diǎn)
    誤：at 9 o’clock a. m.
    4. 不僅可作狀語(yǔ)，而且可作定語(yǔ)。如：
    the 8 a. m. train from London從倫敦開(kāi)來(lái)的上午8點(diǎn)的列車
