經(jīng)濟(jì)擔(dān)保書是一份向美國移民局證明你有足夠的經(jīng)濟(jì)能力來支付你留學(xué)美國時所需的全部費用的文件。一般情況下，你可以提供下列任何一種證明：銀行出具的證明，說明你有足夠的存款支付你留學(xué)美國時所需的費用；如果你的費用由其他人(資助人)支付，則需要資助人出具一份擔(dān)保書(Affidavit of Support)，(需使用美國移民局的表格)。資助人還需由銀行出具一份證明該擔(dān)保人經(jīng)濟(jì)能力的證書。如果您獲得了美國的教育機構(gòu)的資助，該機構(gòu)會為您出具證明。
