普林斯頓大學(xué)金融專業(yè)開設(shè)在Bendheim Center for Finance里，頒發(fā)的學(xué)位是MFin，需要1-2年的時間完成，在錄取信上會根據(jù)申請者的背景、經(jīng)歷以及對課程的熟悉程度決定申請者的預(yù)期學(xué)習(xí)長度。如果兩年完成，需要完成6門的核心課程和10門選修課程，如果一年完成，需要完成10門課程。通常錄取的學(xué)生本科的專業(yè)主要為應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)，經(jīng)濟學(xué)，金融，工程，物理和計算機科學(xué)。希望申請者熟悉mathematics with linear algebra, multivariable calculus, differential equations and with probability and statistics at the level of an intermediate undergraduate course. 除此之外，在秋季開學(xué)之前，學(xué)校會提供two-week refresher course in mathematics and probability prior to the beginning of classes in the Fall semester.

    但是，如果你對現(xiàn)在投資銀行的領(lǐng)域很有興趣，比如定量投資管理，風(fēng)險管理，衍生品的定價，固定收入分析和其他需要理論和實踐很強的現(xiàn)代金融背景的工作，那么普林斯頓的金融專業(yè)就是最優(yōu)的選擇。
    普林斯頓同樣也意識到金融領(lǐng)域不僅包含傳統(tǒng)的投資銀行的，也包含比如保險，商業(yè)銀行，商品，以及傳統(tǒng)的工業(yè)公司里的能源貿(mào)易和風(fēng)險管理。普林斯頓大學(xué)金融專業(yè)的畢業(yè)生在這些方面工作起來也游刃有余。

    1999年之前，普林斯頓在Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE)提供金融工程項目，2000年以后，就換成了金融學(xué)，但是如果學(xué)生喜歡，他們可以focus on 金融工程，是普林斯頓大學(xué)的金融專業(yè)不僅僅包含金融工程，它涵蓋了金融學(xué)的所有方面。
    錄取要求：
          1.GRE或者GMAT都認可，推薦GRE，因為GRE更便宜，考次也多，即使有工作經(jīng)驗，也是需要提供這些成績。Our entering classes have had a median GRE score of 790 on the quantitative part (you may take the exam more than once, in which case we consider your highest score). The average quantitative GMAT scores are 49.5 or 95%. More generally, we pay particular attention to your mathematics background (courses taken in college, grades, scores on the quantitative parts of the tests, etc.). One common reason applicants are not admitted is that their mathematical background is not strong enough to allow them to benefit from our program.
    2. 需要提供TOEFL或者IELTS的成績：All applicants whose native language is not English and who have not received their undergraduate education in an English-speaking country
    3.不需要工作經(jīng)驗，但是希望申請者能有one or more internships (for instance over the summer while in college).
    4.關(guān)于錄取率： In 2010, we received 605 applications and offered admission to 31 applicants (5%), with 25 enrolling (80%). In 2009, we received 591 applications and offered admission to 24 applicants (4%), with 19 enrolling (80%). In 2008, we received 664 applications and offered admission to 40 applicants (7%), with 30 enrolling (75%). In 2007, we received 459 applications and offered admission to 48 applicants (10%), with 35 enrolling (73%).
    　普林斯頓大學(xué)金融專業(yè)對于國際學(xué)生的申請截止日期比美國本土/加拿大早一個月，因此請注意在截止日期前遞交申請材料。如果你的本科academic背景一般的話，請慎重考慮是否要浪費申請費。如果背景不錯，為了增加被錄取的機會，請最好去找一個還不錯的實習(xí)。
