新開設的課程稱為創(chuàng)新結構工程材料碩士(MSc Innovative Structural Engineering Materials)，該專業(yè)接受沒有工作經驗的本科生碩士。很多建筑與土木工程專業(yè)僅僅教授學生使用混凝土和鋼材來完成設計或者工程，而本專業(yè)則是教授他們如何在建筑中使用更加環(huán)保的材料（例如橡膠，竹子，麥稈，與復合材料），以及更加合理的使用玻璃和混凝土，為該系首創(chuàng)；同時巴斯大學的建筑與土木工程系位列英國頂尖建筑系之一，教學質量首屈一指。
     
    入學要求：
    1.具有工程或者理科背景(不需要工作經驗)
    2.雅思7.0(單科不低于6.5)

     國際關系碩士(MA International Relations)和國際關系碩士歐洲政治方向(MA International Relations with European Politics
    新開設的兩個新專業(yè)為國際關系碩士(MA International Relations)和國際關系碩士歐洲政治方向(MA International Relations with European Politics)，隸屬于巴斯大學政治，語言和國際研究系(Politics, Languages and International Studies)。該系在英國久負盛名(泰晤士排名第5)，所以這兩個新課程的教學質量完全得到保證。學生畢業(yè)后可進入媒體，研究院或者各類組織尋求發(fā)展機會。
    入學要求：
    1.必須具備社會科學專業(yè)背景，或相關專業(yè)(政治，法律，國際關系，英語和社會學)
