    arrive v. to reach a place，到達(dá);抵達(dá)
    e.g. What time does the plane arrive in Washington? 飛機(jī)幾點(diǎn)抵達(dá)華盛頓?
    用法提示
    1. arrive 表示到達(dá)某地，后面要接介詞，到達(dá)的地方范圍大時(shí)用in，地方小時(shí)多用at。如：They will arrive in Florida at midnight. 他們將在午夜到達(dá)佛羅里達(dá)。They arrived at the station in the afternoon. 他們下午到達(dá)車站。
    2. arrive 作“到達(dá)”解時(shí)，只表示一時(shí)的動(dòng)作。不可以說：She has arrived for a month. 而應(yīng)該說：She arrived a month ago. 她一個(gè)月前到了。
    3. arrive home 作“到家”解，但“到某人家”必須與at連用。如：I guess he will arrive home in the evening. 我猜他將在晚上到家。I guess he will arrive at his parents' home in the evening. 我猜他將在晚上到他父母家。

    辨析arrive at / in，get to與reach
    arrive at / in意為“到達(dá)”，表示到達(dá)較大的地方用in，較小的地方用at。get to也表示“到達(dá)”之意，可與任何地點(diǎn)連用。reach 是及物動(dòng)詞，意為“到達(dá)”，其后直接接到達(dá)的地點(diǎn)。如：My father arrived in Shanghai. 我爸爸到達(dá)上海了。He arrived at the station this morning. 今天早上他到達(dá)了火車站。He got to the hospital at nine this morning. 他上午九點(diǎn)到了醫(yī)院。Li Ming reached Beijing the day before yesterday. 李明前天到達(dá)北京。
